47Jim Posted October 30, 2021 Report Posted October 30, 2021 (edited) Want to use my original sockets so they fit right, just want the insides with a chunky 6volt pigtail if they can be found. I checked with Rhode Island and they just have the whole socket, I'll go that route if I have to but someone said you could just get the insides. thanks. Edited October 30, 2021 by 47Jim Quote
Sniper Posted October 30, 2021 Report Posted October 30, 2021 You picture file format is not readable, you can thank Apple for that. You can buy the contacts and make your own. Can't help on where to get them since I cannot see your picture. Quote
Young Ed Posted October 30, 2021 Report Posted October 30, 2021 Apparently I bought the new units but only used the guts. Quote
47Jim Posted October 30, 2021 Author Report Posted October 30, 2021 Young Ed, may have to go that route, how did that work for you? These are for a 47 WD21 so regular Dodge truck gauges, any tips or tricks? I'm making my own harness with fuses and such, these are the last pieces to the puzzle. Thanks! Quote

You can buy just the contacts and install them on your wires, neater than splicing. https://www.repairconnector.com/products/Lamp-Socket-Brass-Terminal-Contact-Replacement-Repair-Connector.html Quote
47Jim Posted October 30, 2021 Author Report Posted October 30, 2021 Good deal Sniper, that'll allow me to use the larger wire all the way. 1 Quote
