Doug&Deb Posted October 11, 2021 Report Posted October 11, 2021 Anyone know of any key blank suppliers? I’m having no luck. Quote
Sniper Posted October 11, 2021 Report Posted October 11, 2021 When I got new keys made for my 51 my local locksmith had them in stock. They've been in business since 1937, so it might have been some dusty old stock they had from back in the day. Have you talked to any local locksmiths? Anyway, my locksmith https://www.dixkeyshop.com/ Quote

Bryan Posted October 11, 2021 Report Posted October 11, 2021 The guy doesn't exist on ebay anymore... try searching with words -> "keys cut to code vintage autos" Quote
Doug&Deb Posted October 11, 2021 Author Report Posted October 11, 2021 I ordered some on eBay. I googled the number on the ignition key and was able to find some. Hopefully they’re right and hopefully the locksmith doesn’t make a mistake. Thanks for the help! Quote

I kind of half-arsed my door lock...I discovered that 3 pins were the same as the ignition, removed one altogether, and filed another down until it fit. Not a great solution. Quote

No, this guy based on the measurements of the lock pins (taken out and kept in order) would make a new key . 1 Quote
Woodie Posted October 12, 2021 Report Posted October 12, 2021 Chrysler sent me a copy of original build card in 2019 and I took it to my local locksmith and he took the key codes off the card and made new original Mopar NOS Key blank keys. Of course I was luck the original keys had never been changed. WWW.katkeys.com. Same location since 1924 and he has a 1948 Chrysler. Quote
