juanmc87 Posted September 2, 2021 Report Posted September 2, 2021 Sorry if this is a duplicate, I just recently joined but have been trying my best to look thru previous posts and haven't found much. I've seen that Vintage Power Wagons has some options, but is there anywhere else I can look or find a replacement oil pan for a T306 engine? I have a huge dent on mine and would like to get it replaced. Thanks! Quote
Merle Coggins Posted September 2, 2021 Report Posted September 2, 2021 Since you'd have to take it off to replace it, why not take it off, clean it up, and hammer out the dent? 3 Quote
Tooljunkie Posted September 3, 2021 Report Posted September 3, 2021 I didnt destroy the gasket when i pulled my pan off. Greased the cork and it sealed up just fine. I pulled it twice, first time to clean it, next time to remove timing cover. i wouldnt think twice about beating some dents out of a pan. Quote
juanmc87 Posted September 3, 2021 Author Report Posted September 3, 2021 Appreciate the feedback, I'll try to hammer it out first and get it a new gasket on there. Quote
greg g Posted September 3, 2021 Report Posted September 3, 2021 (edited) Your other option is to be to cot out the dented section, replace it with new metal and weld or braze ( do people still braze stuff any more) it in. Edited September 3, 2021 by greg g Quote
