Dodgeb4ya Posted December 1, 2020 Report Posted December 1, 2020 (edited) I put 52 chrysler windsor lower arms/springs in my 51 plymouth when I was 16 to make it sit higher. The chrysler springs were too long to fit on the plymouth top seat so I then installed the chrysler lower seat A-arms...car sat couple inches higher with the stiffer chrysler springs. That was over 50 years ago. Edited December 1, 2020 by Dodgeb4ya Quote

Pooshoe Posted December 1, 2020 Author Report Posted December 1, 2020 No I will not be adding a taller spring Quote
Frank Elder Posted December 1, 2020 Report Posted December 1, 2020 I was wondering if your shock was going to bottom out, but I guess not if your spring isn't going to compress as much anymore. Quote
Sniper Posted December 1, 2020 Report Posted December 1, 2020 The bump stops are what limit the control arm movement, unless he changed the size of those the shock won't bottom out. All he's doing is changing the angle of the control arms to lower the body, which probably means he'll be bottoming out more. Quote
