Pablito Posted September 12, 2020 Report Posted September 12, 2020 Anyone in Seattle area know where to buy springs? My front seat adjustment handle has two springs, one left and one right. One broke. Thanks, Paul Quote
greg g Posted September 13, 2020 Report Posted September 13, 2020 Take the good one to a hardware store. They have many different springs, probably not an exact match, but bet you can get real close. Quote

Pablito Posted September 14, 2020 Author Report Posted September 14, 2020 Big Thanks guys for the leads. Found out a trampoline spring seems to fit but now not sure of how many pounds of resistance are required. This parts searching sure is an interesting aspect of restating an old car! Quote

I am in no way connected to them, just a loyal customer. 1 Quote

Just needs to be strong enough to hold the seat latch in the locked position, not a lot of engineering here. Edited September 14, 2020 by Sam Buchanan Quote
