  1. Thanks to all for the leads.
  2. Big Thanks guys for the leads. Found out a trampoline spring seems to fit but now not sure of how many pounds of resistance are required. This parts searching sure is an interesting aspect of restating an old car!
  3. Anyone in Seattle area know where to buy springs? My front seat adjustment handle has two springs, one left and one right. One broke. Thanks, Paul

  5. Its a 1947 Special De Lux, need to get a pic or two. Yesterday I felt like an archeologist as I carefully dug down thru decades of dirt and asphalt (2-3” thick in places)to “discover” the backside of my headlights!
  6. Thanks, I’ve heard that name before. Will look him up as I will need parts! Do you know if Corker is the only game in town for 600 x 16 tires! Paul

  8. thanks... (John?) it seems like a good group with amazing networking. Right now I’m still fumbling about in the home page of the club. And fumbling around under the car. 75 years of grease and dirt keep me busy these last few days. Again. - thanks for the message
  9. Just signed up and looking at the site and trying to figure it out. My 1st car had been parked 25 years in the garage. Had it since 1974. Plan to get it back on the road so looking to network in Renton/Newcastle area. Paul
