  1. Speaking of grease... I was wondering if after 25 years since my last grease job, has the grease gotten so bad or hard that I need to tear everything apart or can I just cram more grease into the fittings? I don’t want to drive far in case of extreme wear potential. Also: I wonder if “modern” grease (one type for all fittings) is ok to use? Service Manuel has many varieties (of weight?) of grease mentioned for different grease points. I just want to move forward and not cause damage? Paul
  2. So, this is a great exchange of ideas. Was there a final word on brake fluid or ATF as the better option? Paul ...About to embark on wipers since they are needed here in soggy Seattle area
  3. Oops I get it now... application is for “hinge at front” on right rear door. Thanks again
  4. The box also lists “right rear door” thats what threw me off
  5. Thanks for the info. my part looks like your R-1. But the box is came in lists; “right front door, hinge at front” so I’m bewildered. Do Know any where that sells a L-1 ? Cool and wet here in Newcastle (Seattle). You look chilly back east
  6. Does anyone know if these kits are good on all doors on P-15 part # 1333 461 The box list all doors but drivers door (which is what I need). It “looks” like it would fit?

  8. Thanks to all for the leads.
  9. Big Thanks guys for the leads. Found out a trampoline spring seems to fit but now not sure of how many pounds of resistance are required. This parts searching sure is an interesting aspect of restating an old car!
  10. Anyone in Seattle area know where to buy springs? My front seat adjustment handle has two springs, one left and one right. One broke. Thanks, Paul
