Need help B1 or B3

Hello,

Brand new to the forum. Would like some help. Picked up a 1951 dodge truck, however I am having difficulty determining the model. Attached is a picture. There are no vin plates unfortunately.

 

Any help is appreciated.

Looks like a 1951-52 B3 truck with 1948-50 B1/B2 Doors.

'53 has different rear fenders.  Does the dash have a chrome metal plate in the middle or plastic script that says "Dodge" ('53 model).

hard to tell from the picture, but the door water channels make it look like a B1 or a B2.  For a definitive answer we'd need pics of the dash.  It looks like you have a mongrel body.

 

B1 1948

B2 1949-50

B3 1951-1952

B4 1953

7. water channel around the door

9. grill
10. grill top center badging
11. wiper placement
12. gauges
13. factory radio cut out
14. hood props
15. horn button
16. parking brake
17. trans (synchro gears vs. non)
18. anti-squeak on windhshield
19. door seal location
20. door sill panel
21. window cranks
22. interior door handles
23. exterior door handles
24. escutcheon type of interior handles
25. interior door cover panel
26. interior stamping on door

 

I'm sure there are more that I forgot

Here the dash

That’s a B3 dash. So it looks like you have a ‘51 or ‘52 with ‘48-‘50 doors. Or at least the the passenger side door... 

It also appears to be a 1/2 ton based on the space between the cab and fenders. That would make it a B3B.
