40desoto Posted December 16, 2019 Report Posted December 16, 2019 I recently purchased an ARP stud kit listed for a Chrysler L6 engine (ARP 142-4001). Didnt notice until the the package arrived and I opened the box that it only included 15 studs but the head on my 265 requires 21. Watch out for this Quote

maok Posted December 16, 2019 Report Posted December 16, 2019 I bought ford model a studs for my '28. The short ones were about 1/2" longer and had to use a washer under nut, which is not the end of the world. Quote

James_Douglas Posted January 3, 2020 Report Posted January 3, 2020 My ARP Main and Head Stud Order from 2005 that is running in my 251 engine since then. Quote
Loren Posted March 11, 2020 Report Posted March 11, 2020 Thanks to James Douglas for the part numbers! I ordered the above for my 265 today. I got somebody at ARP on the phone who acted like I was taking up his important time. He was very direct (which is to say short) but we got it done! He wanted to direct me to a distributer but I told him they only wanted to sell kits, then without a pause went right into my order. $230. Quote
