Well for any do it yourselfer old Plymouth rodders….Took the Plymouth out this morning and going thru the speed alert  in town the speedometer was right on at 30 mph... 7 tooth red drive gear and a yellow 24 tooth driven gear......350 chevy antomatic with a 3.71 rearend and 670-15 coker narrow radial tires.

I'd be interested to see how you did in a clocked off mile-around here those speed alert things always seem to read 3-5MPH off of my daily drivers.

I go thru this one almost every day with my town and country or Tahoe and they both read right on at 30 mph...  Close enough for government work ...

It took a while, but I found the GPS system that drives a mechanical speedometer.  It probably isn't cheap (no price listed), but it certainly solves this problem.  It's called the SPEEDBOX, it's sold by Speedhut on their website http://www.speedhut.com
