  1. go with LED's a lot cheaper than repairing a vehicle that has been rear ended. I have them on both my trucks
  2. Classic instruments in Boyne City MI can convert your stock speedometer to GPS
  3. I drive my truck nearly every day therefore not everything is period correct. I bought the basic wiring kit from Kwik wire. Very pleased with it plug in circuit breakers, shut off switch, every wire labeled as to where it goes ie right rear brake etc. I believe it was under $300.
  4. I used a GPS driven speedometer from Dolphin.... Hassle free love it Stewart-Warner and Classic have them as well
  5. I wondered why I could no longer post for wanted stuff and search the for sale stuff for my truck. Hopefully this can be restored, just my opinion Thanks

  9. Has anybody found a dual master cylinder conversion for a 1952 pickup. Under the floor stock pedals, thanks in advance.
  10. I used a 1948 Dodge passenger wheel a lot fancier and the splines match my 52 B3B pickup
  11. Did you convert your master cylinder to a dual? if so what did you use?
  12. there is a specific steering wheel puller made for these wheels hard to find but they work great.the "grip" swings down and fits the taper of the wheel
  13. got mine from Dodge Central Michigan, dcmclassic. 3 point lap and shoulder belts works great
  14. Yup, u joint was the same trans to trans. Cut the head off of a long bolt the same thread as the bell housing helps to install the trans.
  15. Correct, I tried that method and discovered the forks were quite different. I was trying to convert a column shift to a floor shift. I ended up swapping out the transmission. I thought the same thing until I went to switch them.
  16. What master cylinder are you using? Do you sell the bracket?
  17. They DO NOT switch out the shifting forks are different. I went the opposite way with my '52 changing to a floor shift 3 speed. My issue with the column shift is the spline at the bottom of the the column is very fine and strips out easily. Makes a somewhat delicate connection. I drive mine a lot and didn't want to fight to find a gear. Whichever way you jump good luck.
  18. Thank you very much it is exactly what I needed. I put this wheel in my '52 pickup, it's a lot fancier than the plain pickup wheel. I have manuals for the trucks but not passenger cars. Thanks again
  19. I used the Tanks in my 1952 works fine just have to make slight modifications to the mounting brackets.
  20. ISO line drawing of horn ring assembly 1948 Dodge sedan. I have a pile of parts not sure how they all fit Thanks in advance
