Young Ed Posted May 31, 2018 Report Posted May 31, 2018 I was going to post to see if anyone in the Chicago area wanted to go to a game on me just so I could get this exclusive vinyl. That is until I saw each seat is $150! http://purchase.tickets.com/buy/MLBEventInfo?orgid=5&agency=CUBSB2B83&pid=8510736&tfl=Chicago_Cubs-tickets-Chicago_Cubs:_Tickets:_Chicago_Cubs_Exclusive_Vinyl_Record_Ticket_Package-ticket_grid-1-Desktop-Landscape Quote
chuck 47 plym Posted May 31, 2018 Report Posted May 31, 2018 The only way a cubs ticket would be worth that much is if they were playing the Cardinals. Lol. Quote
plymouthcranbrook Posted May 31, 2018 Report Posted May 31, 2018 (edited) This is one of the reasons I quit going to professional sports games a very long time ago. Thirty some years ago a box of 4 seats cost me about $125 at Cubs park. Edited May 31, 2018 by plymouthcranbrook Quote
Grdpa's 50 Dodge Posted June 1, 2018 Report Posted June 1, 2018 I recall taking my 5 kids and myself to Royals games ( think we got 3 games in a few days for less than $10 bucks a seat just past first base half way up. I thought they were good seats. You think baseball seats are high just price some Vikings or Bears tickets. I looked late last year and it sticker shocked me into next year. I checked into some drag tics for the big boys while they were in Kansas which is still a long drive. They were like 500 a day. You never go alone so your at $1000 and then gas and room and your at 1200 or more and 3 days is about right , I stayed home and watched TV. Quote

48Dodger Posted June 1, 2018 Report Posted June 1, 2018 We complain....but yet the stadiums are full on the weekends....supply and demand I guess. I spent my money on a 70 inch screen TV...for sports of course. Full disclosure: I'm a lifetime A's fan (1972 to present)....cheapest seats in pro baseball. 48A's 1 Quote
