Okay on my C series truck my glove box door flys open every time i floor it.

Not sure a magnet latch would work.

Anyone else deal with this?

You got too much raw power now with the dual carbs. You’ll need to de-tune it... JK ;):D

Same here, although the door springs are pretty good. I mounted 2 universal magnets (red arrows) to the corners of the box. The have got threaded pins on the rear. Tuck in,  nut on it (yellow arrow), done. Diameter approx 1/4". Strong enough to keep the door closed, but not too strong which allows to open the door without much force. Got them from a DIY store.

Does the door hinge go over or under cardboard insert?

55... Are you missing this spring? Mine shuts nicely and never flips open even with the awesome power of my worn out tug 218 lol.

What I noticed if I use the outer screws, that is the one to the far left and far right and leave out the middle two, everything works great. If I install all four then the door doesn’t close well. Just what I see on my truck. Best of luck.

Rockwood? Are you talking about a source for the door spring? I would like information on that if you have it!

A day after I responded, I sent an email to Steve Flokstra at DCM hoping he had some used ones. Turns out he had new ones for $10. I got one on the way.
