jpartington Posted April 8, 2017 Author Report Posted April 8, 2017 Found myself a horn ring that wasn't broken. On the old ring one of the archs was broken out. 4 Quote
jpartington Posted April 8, 2017 Author Report Posted April 8, 2017 Been working on collecting parts and cleaning them up and powder coating. 2 Quote
jpartington Posted April 8, 2017 Author Report Posted April 8, 2017 The truck has been sitting in the garage for a while so in the meantime it has become a nice shelf. There is normally more stuff on it. 2 Quote
jpartington Posted April 8, 2017 Author Report Posted April 8, 2017 And this is why I'm calling it the little blue truck. It doesn't exactly look like the truck in the book but I like to read these books to my daughter. And she enjoys them so that's what we're sticking with 4 Quote
Fowl Jeff Posted April 8, 2017 Report Posted April 8, 2017 I like the name! I showed your book pictures to my wife and we're going to buy them for the grandkids.. Quote
jpartington Posted April 8, 2017 Author Report Posted April 8, 2017 There is a few of these books in the series. They are fun Quote
Young Ed Posted April 8, 2017 Report Posted April 8, 2017 My boys approve of your name. They got excited when they saw pictures of books they have. Quote
jpartington Posted April 8, 2017 Author Report Posted April 8, 2017 I might get some kind of a plaque made at some point and put it somewhere on the truck 1 Quote

jpartington Posted April 9, 2017 Author Report Posted April 9, 2017 (edited) I believe you mean the left but yes I did paint it now. Went with black haha. That was what I had laying around. I figured I would just lay some reflective tape or something down in there to make sure the light will be its brightest. Or white tape Edited April 9, 2017 by jpartington Quote

jpartington Posted April 19, 2017 Author Report Posted April 19, 2017 Was there a standard size tire for these trucks? I'm hoping to make new tires the next big purchase, but I would like to make sure I get the correct size there are some mismatched ones on it right now Quote
JaysonK Posted April 20, 2017 Report Posted April 20, 2017 Love the truck. where are you getting your parts? Quote

jpartington Posted May 19, 2017 Author Report Posted May 19, 2017 Am I able to purchase a new sticker for my air cleaner that is a stock replica? Quote
jpartington Posted May 19, 2017 Author Report Posted May 19, 2017 If I want to powder coat the horn, what is under the cap at the top of the picture? I just don't want to take it apart and have parts fly out. Or just go ahead and powder coat it and have there be plastic parts in there that can melt when I cook it. Quote
