Beware of scam buyers on Ebay! I had to relist my truck. It really messed us up on our time frame for the move. This is the new Ebay item #

130137080142 I lowered the buy it now price. Call me if anyone wants it and I will end the auction early.

Here is what the scam looks like.....

Thanks for your prompt response, I will be sending you US Cashier’s Check worth of $4650 which is cashable same day at your bank, it’s include the shipper’s charges and the Item charges. I have to use the BUY IT NOW option to prevent other buyers. I will like you to wire transfer the excess funds to the shipper after you must have cashed the payment in your bank so that they can come for the pickup of the item as soon as possible. If this is okay by you, Send me the name, address and telephone number where the US Cashier’s Check will be mailed to you, hope to hear back from you as soon as possible. Also email me and let me know if you understand and I will make sure the payment is out with immediate effect. If you have any questions feel free to contact me through email. I will be waiting to read from you soon. It’s a pleasure doing business with you.

Warmest Regards

I thought all you folks had a reverse gravity device. I have one in my garage. Could not have rebuilt ym engine without it.

Most of Don's work was done that way. He just wanted to show everyone how easy it is to rebuild the old flatheads. Was proving that you could do it while standing on your head.:D Either that, or he couldn't figure out that the camera was upside down when he took the pictures.:D :D :D

I see a lot of people using paper towels in the garage. However, I don't care for them to clean grease and oil off my hands while working in the garage. They tear too easily. I won't use any type paper product in the garage, I prefer rags in the garage. Only thing I use paper towels for in the garage is to clean the windows on the car. No need to buy rags either. You always have bath towels, shirts, etc. that you are throwing out. Wash them one last time, then just cut them up for rags in the garage. When they get dirty, throw them away.:)

I use paper towels in the garage. I don't ruin my clothes fast enough to keep up on my need for rags :) For the really greasy stuff a cloth rag is the way to go. Antifreeze seems to come off better with paper. Gets rid of that slimy feeling.

IF you wanna save money use old newspapers to clean the windows,,,works just as good. Oh and why waste time and scissors cutting up the towels and t-shirts,,,I use them whole,,,gives that reversible clean spot. I cant believe all the perfectly GOOD clothing my kids throw out. We used to wear them thin and still hand them down for chore clothing.

POOR people have poor ways!!!says --just don--

I havent figured out how to get the old newspaper out of my computer as that is how I read the paper these days.

Ya want cheap rags......just attend some rummage/garage sales. Usually old towels, t shirts and other low cost things to use for rags. I have discovered that a polyester sport shirt and certain other fabrics don't work very well.

Go swipe your neighbors out of his box before he gets home from work. My daughter used to have a paper route and it was around a lake, so one path, impossible to walk past somebodies box you used EVERY day. Regularly somebody would call from the other side saying they didnt get one today,,,so daughter had to trudge all the way around AGAIN and give them ours. Cant stand a disgruntled customer you know. Snow drifts got pretty deep for 8 year old legs. PS neighbors saw the people doing it!!,,,swiping their neighbors paper,,,if they read it fast enough they put it back before they got home,,,we got a call on the days they didnt get it back in time!!

Way back in the heyday of The Rocky and Bulwinkle Show our own Mr. Coatney invested in some of that there Upsy-Dasium Boris and Natasha were trying to get their hands on.

I buy the red shop rags when on sale at Harbor Freight at 50 to a package and unsually burn them when totally shot...use them up degree of dirty jobs with last use being cleaning out the drip pan etc...

Tim,

I've bought some of those red rags from places like Harbor Freight or the auto parts stores. However, gave them up. Would try to wipe my hands with one and my hands looked like they were bleeding, they were so red. The dye comes off of them on your hands, so stopped buying them.

Sometimes at swap meets you'll see someone selling nice blue rags. I've bought them from time to time. Those are great. They are actually used rags that were used in hospitals. I know that because use to get them free. Sister in law taught radiology school for years at the hospital and would bring them home. She retired a few years ago though, so have ta buy em now if I want them.:(

Still like the old rags best though, especially old towels and wash rags. However, as BobT pointed out, polyester rags aren't all that great. Even so, they still have their uses too.

Don C,

I rarely look at the online version of the paper. You can't take the computer and sit in your recliner, read it while eating breakfast and having your morning coffee. Most of all, you can't take your computer into the "Library" and read it.:) For those reasons and the fact that not all the news is posted in the online version, I still like the old fashioned paper newspaper.:)

You even have to be careful if using a laptop in the "Library" or it could end up with like a lot of cell phones. Gets wet and ruins it.;)

That is what I have my trusty Golden Lab MICK JAGGER for. He does the paper stealing much better than I ever could and as a Lab he loves to carry a trophy around.

Why not to all of the above? A wireless router allowes you to use your laptop anywhere you want. Norm you are really behind the times:D You should get with the program:cool:

Norm;

Cant believe you actually opened your wallet and bought rags having read your prior posts while sitting in my recliner using my wireless laptop. However the red stuff is not blood but the BBQ sauce Ed mentioned earlier.
