This morning there was a LOT of antifreeze on the floor under the truck. The bottom two freeze plugs suddenly started to leak. I must not have done a very good install. Quote

pflaming Posted August 23, 2016 Author Report Posted August 23, 2016 two new plugs in. Used the rubber compression kind. Very hard to install because there isn't enough room to strike a hammer blow. I finally rigged up a block and crowbar pressure device and PUSHED them in. It took a lot of pressure on that bar, but they are in. I restarted the engine and all is holding, will know more after it runs an hour or so. Quote

pflaming Posted August 23, 2016 Author Report Posted August 23, 2016 No I did not, was re cently told to put a gasket sealer on the edges. I had just returned from fishing so I put spittle on the edges! LOL Quote
