Don Coatney Posted June 10, 2016 Report Posted June 10, 2016 I bought a pair of the pictured 5 inch clip on mirrors several years ago from JC Whitney for eleven bucks each. I contacted Whitney and they no longer carry them. Internet searches found no results. I found some similar but they were junk and I returned them. I have contacted Summit, Jegs, and all other known vendors. Anyone know a source for these mirrors? Quote

rb1949 Posted June 10, 2016 Report Posted June 10, 2016 Does the angle help visibility? I hate mine. Quote
Don Coatney Posted June 10, 2016 Author Report Posted June 10, 2016 These mirrors are nothing like the mirrors on new cars but they are better than nothing as that is what I have now. Quote
Oldguy48 Posted June 11, 2016 Report Posted June 11, 2016 Don, Try this website for "United Pacific Industries". They have a nice selection of mirrors, and their quality is very good. I received a pair of clamp on mirrors as a gift that incorporate a LED turn signal in the mirror. Seem to be very well made units. And the mirror that these replaced was of the same company. Their website is a bit of a challenge to work thru to the mirrors, but I think it's worth the effort. The mirrors were purchased at local car shows thru a vendor, but I'm sure you can also purchase on-line. www.uapac.com Wayne 1 Quote
rb1949 Posted June 11, 2016 Report Posted June 11, 2016 Ah, your new buggy had no mirrors. My driver side is round, but door mount. Too small. Looking at a larger rectangle. Pass is clamp on peep, useless. Maybe the angle of your style would help(?) And a better location, not behind the vent window bar! Does the arm screw into the bracket to tighten? I see no screws. suntennis Posted June 11, 2016 Report Posted June 11, 2016 So-cal Speed shop has some mirrors that may work for you. I found one that works for both sides that bolts on. Quote
Howard Tarnoff Posted June 12, 2016 Report Posted June 12, 2016 Speedway and Chromeit both stock peep mirrors. Limeworks has peep "like" Quote
