Sam Pack Auction results

You may recall a few months ago there was a huge collection of vintage cars
to be auctioned. It was the Sam Pack collection and many of these cars were
essentially new when he squirreled them away for 50 yrs or so..
In any event, here is the results of that auction and the prices the cars
sold for.

Big money but it doesnt seem like there were any crazy bidding wars.

Once again a solid reason while I am still driving my 4800 dollar Volare and my 3000 dollar Cranbrook.

Boy......If he had some of them since they were fairly new, he either restored them or took excellent care of them

because I didn't see any bad looking cars.  Many sold for the kind of prices I see on televised auctions like Mecum 

and Barrett Jackson.  He even had several nice professionally built street rod/customs.  

 

I don't know where all these people get all the money they spend on buying these cars.......

And the list of auctions seems to be never ending.

He sure liked his Fords! Big money spent. There are lots of people out there with very deep pockets............but I'm not one of them. Overall though, I bet I get as much or more enjoyment out of the old cars I do own and drive.

At least this part of his collection had no "ferin" cars. Was this his entire collection?

 

Must have had a Ford high up contact to  be able to buy that many concept vehicles
