I received a call today from a hub cap business in NM. He stated that without exaggeraton he has more than 400,000 hub caps!  He's looking for a set for me.  I will get the details of where he is, how to contact him et.al., when he calls back.

This is a very interesting hobby!

So what should I do? Wait on him or wait on you? As a well seasoned (or un-seasoned) forum member you should add him to the links section.

I referred him to the forum.

I'm looking for a set of 10" caps with dodge on them. Any type of dodge is ok, just want four of a kind.

No, but I wanted to extend the courtesy to have the first say. I just got off the phone with him, here's the information.

Mr. Hubcap, Albuquerque, NM. His name is Fred, phone is 505 250 3195. He welcomes your calls.

Mr hubcap.com will get you more information.

Paul,

This place, about 8 miles from here, has several small hub caps on his wall.......or at least he did when I took this

picture 3 or 4 years ago.   Seems to me there were some for Dodge, probably early 50s style.  I'm pretty sure

they were in "fair" shape......maybe some dings........and not real shiny as they've been outside for years.

Pricewise, they would probably be reasonable.

If you can't find any others, and aren't wanting show quality stuff, I could go look ..... when the weather gets a

bit warmer.    In the teens, twenties and thirties here right now.

Or maybe he could interest you in a nice camping rig............

He also has this 39 Plymouth........sitting on some later model Mopar chassis...........

Seems a little sketchy to me.

But, ya gotta love that red light............

Ahhh........there's the P15 coupe the son in law and I cut the top off to replace his top that was mashed by a huge

tree.   This car has an independent front end..........independent of the rest of the car.  LOL

It was a convertible after we converted it...........

Best thing about that old coupe was........I got a pretty darn nice original cigarette lighter (plus a couple of

tail light lenses).  That lighter was the nicest piece on the whole car.  It survived all those years, just

waiting for me to come along.

Oh    I should explain --- all this stuff is at the same place as those Dodge hubcaps.
