Barry Maxwell
To All: Because of farm and health issues, I have been basically out of action during the last several months. Nevertheless, I finally finished color sanding and buffing the cab in preparation for installation on the chassis. On Sat., with the help of my wife, son, and grandson we were able to install the cab. Actually, my son did most of the work. I simply directed and manned the camera. All in all, it was a banner day!! Hopefully, there should be several photos attached. Barry

Barry Maxwell
Can I borrow your wife, son, and grandson for a day? Not my son or grandson. However, please take my wife (kidding of course, actually, she is worth her weight in gold!) Barry

Paul Hatfield
Wow, great progress!! Interesting method of lifting the cab. Was the process smooth and stable?? -Paul
ggdad1951
that method works well, it's how I removed my cab pretty much by myself.
Barry Maxwell
Wow, great progress!! Interesting method of lifting the cab. Was the process smooth and stable?? -Paul Paul: Yes, the process was smooth and relatively stable. The fore and aft stability is a function of where you place the 4x4 in the door opening. Once you determine it is stable, it's hands off the cab. Positioning is done only by moving the shop hoist (sometimes with difficulty). I learned of this method from a thread on this Forum (perhaps by ggdad 1951). Barry
