I don't think I've ever had one.  It's hard to remember if I had one in the beginning.  I installed the last motor in 1968.

I have searched and saw pictures of the dust cover posted by Young Ed.

Does anyone have a picture of the dust cover mounted.

If you are talking about the leather cover on the clutch arm (Seal 6-23-3 in the pic above) it mounts to a rectangle metal frame with small bend over "teeth" to hold it.

On the Downloads page is a pattern for making the leather cover.

Don, that what my engine looks like.

I saw a couple pictures and comments about the other dust cover so I was wondering if I was missing something.

It's called a "Clutch Housing Dust Cover"

Maybe this is something that is more truck related or is it part of the "Clutch Housing Dust Pan"

That is my pic and its a truck part. The trucks have the same basic part as you guys are talking about for the cars except its in 2 pieces.

How important is the clutch housing dust pan felt seal ?  I'm trying to locate an oil leak at the back of my D24 engine and the felt on my dust pan is shredded.

Not sure how important it is but I felt I should replace it.

Actually I just wanted to show now good it felt to use a couple of puns.
