48Dodger Posted September 1, 2014 Report Posted September 1, 2014 The only makers of 3 wheel cars I can think of from 1946 were Mathis VL 333 (only 9 built), Tatra (Czech only 6000 built) and Morgan....I know there was a lot of experimenting in the 30's, but by post war I think the idea was on the back burner..... So I'm gonna say "Tatra Plan"......it was named after the 5 years plan that the commies had after WW2 to rebuild. They didn't sell very well and a few were send to the U.S. 48D Quote

I even used Tim's clue and google "1946 3 wheel car rocket"......I got a ton of returns on the Olds and Tucker cars.
