Thanks. It's really amazing to be driving this thing after all this time. It almost feels like I shouldn't be doing it. It's really weird that now it is an actual operative automobile that will go at highway speeds and get me to my destination reliably. I owe a lot of guys on this forum thanks. You especially, Don. You were one of the first people I consulted on this project. It's been a great long-distance collaboration.

Congrats on the long trouble free trip.  Looks like I missed you by a couple hours.  I drove back to Buffalo from D.C. this AM - on the GW Parkway, too (at 6:00 am, tho).

Thanks, guys. Niel, yes, my knuckles are just getting their color back. The trip down there was more stressful not just because of the heavy traffic but because I had never driven this car at highway speeds for long periods. I was reluctant to go over 60 and the cars behind you and the ones blowing past you just make you nervous. By the time I set out on the return trip I was much more comfortable with what the car could do and I cruised between 65 and 70. That kept me pretty much running with everyone else, but I was still in the slow class. People seem to think nothing of going 90 or faster, which I know some of them were doing. My rule is to stay off the interstates unless I can't avoid it.
