MaineP15
Originally I was thinking a creme color, but now I am thinking a blue/gray, Especially since I need to work around the interir colors now here is the interior material:
greg g
Checkout Air Wing Grey it's a original P-15 color.
MaineP15
Thanks Greg, I have been looking around, Im thinking Salvadore Blue actually, its an original 49 color. Also just bought front drivers side fender trim, NOS. That was the piece in the worst shape on the car. The rockers need to be attended to, I banged out the dents on one, it still needs more work... also need passenger side glass.

pflaming
Wow, when you drive that through the beautiful green Maine side roads, that will really show. Nice color. Will look you up next June on our annual trip to see our kids in Bath. Keep us posted.
50desotocoupe
Contact Chris at "cblattie@aol.com" cblattie@aol.com for the passenger side glass. I found him through the HAMB and he comes highly recommended. He did a great job on the passenger door glass for my Desoto. You should see how he packaged the glass to be shipped to me.....literally built a wood suitcase for it..... Matt

pflaming
Isn't the glass flat? Any glass store will have glass. Mine cost me $50 / door and it's safety glass also. .
MaineP15
That sounds even better. 50 bucks and they cut it as well?
pflaming
Yes, just take them a pattern. I'm talking truck windows which are quite large. Glass comes in various tints. Some NOT legal for some of the windows, at least here in Calif. I put the darkest gray tint that was legal on my side windows. It really takes off a lot of glare. Good luck. MaineP15
I decided I wanted the car a bit darker than the 1st tone, so a bit of re-work. Its done, and is being put back together.
