This was posted on craigslist here in Santa Rosa.  It didn't sell so I called the guy.  He doesn't want it going to the crusher, but also is under pressure to get it off his property.  He says it's a 51 cab with no dents, but  some surface rust, though no rot.  The fenders are "large" so I assume they are 53/54 style.  Later Model 4X4 Dodge Frame That Has Both Axles In It And Transmission And Transfer Case With Drive Lines. It Has Disk Front Brakes And Drums In The Rear And Has The Master Cylinder Hooked Up.  He's asking $300 for it all.

I don't have room for another cab.  Since he couldn't sell it on Craigslist I told him I'd put it on the forum.  Contact him, Branden Garrison,  at 707 888 2745  or email: branden@sonomacountyheatandair.com  Hope someone can find a great home for this.

Jeez the grill alone is pretty much worth his asking price.

It looks to be a 53 cab according to the dash and the fenders look like a larger Truck. Lot of good parts though.   Carl  :)

My mistake I was looking at the Front fenders.

if it didn't have to go across half the country I'd buy it.

I just bought a parts truck from Kev ......

But if he can't find a buyer, I'll consider it.

Just to save it from the crusher.

For the time and money involved in repairing rust you might still come out ahead to have it shipped up here. Now that you've seen the typical MN stuff.....

how would a guy figure that out?(shipping)?

I'm working on getting this shipped to me if it's not too spendy, could I convince anyone out there to act as my proxy for the shipping?  Ok pretty sure I've got this locked in...so anyone have the "best" or most "secrure" way to pay this guy and such?  Bob, Tim?

Of course I'll help the best I can Mark. But really, there are a few guys closer.....Bob Koch and Monkeytruck(Eric) for starters.

He wants it gone by this weekend, which I can't do. I won't be free til the following weekend. I'm 2hours away.

Hope you get the truck, and if you do and need a waiting area....its more than welcome to sit here at my place til you're ready.

Yikes, by THIS weekend?  I'm calling him tonight after I get back from playing hockey and we'll talk, I guess and see the final details.  I'm hoping I could get transport by this weekend then.  Guess I'll see.

Shipping on such short notice might be tough.  I recently had a car shipped to me and use this shipping broker.  Price was fair and the service was very good.  Give them a call if you want to see if they can help.
