Dajudge Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 For those of you on facebook... I built a page for my daughter and I to use as a build log that our friends and family could follow along with our saga. I also thought it might be a great motivator knowing we had eyes watching us, waiting for something exciting to happen. https://www.facebook.com/Kaitlyns49Dodge 1 Quote

The location and time that the photo is taken on a typical smart phone and on newer dedicated cameras is stored in the EXIF data embedded in the photo. The first thing I did on my smart phone was disable the recording of the GPS information in any photo taken. Not sure it is possible to disable the time of day tagging though. And there are a lot of tools out there for taking the GPS latitude and longitude information and turning it back into a street address. So if you just have default settings and take and upload photos it is easy to find out when and where the photo was taken. There are tools for removing that data but I think it is just easier to not have it there in the first place. Quote

Dajudge Posted May 24, 2013 Author Report Posted May 24, 2013 I will be posting here as well. The Facebook thing just makes it easy for family and friends. Checked my phone and all the geotagging stuff is off automatically. Quote
