Thanks for posting that picture. It is great!

It also reminds us that our old cars were once everyday drivers and are lucky to have survived.

You're welcome, Bob. Date on the pic is 1940, so none of the cars in it are exactly brand new, but some are newer than others. Witness that old sedan in the center right distance. It can't be any newer than the mid-twenties and yet there it is, right downtown in the middle of a blizzard!

Love the pic, and yes in 1940, cars were used longer, and less new ones bought just after the depression, and the beginning of WW2.

Sure. Eezy peezy, Greg. Here's a pic I've had in my files since November of 2010. Not exactly the same angle, but I think you can pick up enough landmarks to see that not that much has changed on Main Street in Brattleboro, Vermont in 70 years. Cheers!
