alteredpilot Posted October 27, 2012 Report Posted October 27, 2012 yeah, those have been out for a while. pretty awesome i think. street rodder mag used one for their road tour 2012 car, built by hollywood hot rods. so now you can buy a new all steel mustang, 40 ford, model a ford, model b ford, 55-57 chevrolet, 67-69 camaro, and not sure what else. pretty freaking cool. JerseyHarold Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 Bodies assembled in the U.S.A. I wonder where the stampings are being made.... Quote
Scruffy49 Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 Probably China. You can also get a couple brand new Mopar steel bodies. I think 68 Charger and one of the 70-72ish Chargers. Brookville's Ford bodies are better than the originals were. I have a 32 Victoria (real one) stored at my uncle's place in Washington state, he had a repop Brookville Model A body sitting next to it. The repop has much crisper lines than the real deal Ford body. The Chinese Rustang and Commonaro bodies are okay. Not great, but better than rotted out trash that a lot of builders start with. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 the question of how it is going to affect the real deal on value and sales..inquiring minds want to know...how are they titled? Quote
Bingster Posted October 29, 2012 Author Report Posted October 29, 2012 I can't help but wonder what would happen if Ford did a small run of those coupes as an entire car? Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted October 29, 2012 Report Posted October 29, 2012 better chance of success than the remake of the T-bird Quote
fstfish66 Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 remember the ford repop model A in the late 1980s? you would think that would of told them not to repop that t bird,,,now a repop retro 40 ford with modern running gear would be a home run in my eyes,, i thought many years ago when i was a youngster,,why cant they make old cars,,,now look,, Quote
