Desotodav Posted October 21, 2012 Report Posted October 21, 2012 I spotted this Fargo truck for sale on Ebay recently and noticed that the seller listed it "for restoration"... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Chrysler-Fargo-Ute-body-Restoration-/190741926881?pt=AU_Clothing_Merchandise_Media&hash=item2c691ad3e1#ht_500wt_1414 . I have some friends that are very handy with the panel beating tools, but I reckon that even they would struggle with this one. I'm thinking that the front section may prove the most challenging (see photos). Desotodav Quote
Dave72dt Posted October 21, 2012 Report Posted October 21, 2012 I'm thinking I wouldn't want to have to pay someone to staighten the front out. However.... if it was mine, I'd probably have a go at it just to see if I could. Quote
Don Coatney Posted October 22, 2012 Report Posted October 22, 2012 It looks like it should buff out like new:confused: Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted October 22, 2012 Report Posted October 22, 2012 me thinks the seller is jerking a chain not visible to the naked eye..little creative license if you will Quote
48Dodger Posted October 22, 2012 Report Posted October 22, 2012 lol....You're on Dave. Let's tackle it together and prove the haters wrong! Limit one gallon of body filler, no aftermarket panels, and one tube of JB Weld. I'll start saving my coin, polish my panel beating tools, and we'll make that trip "down under" a trip to remember! uh....unless they crush it before we get there. 48D Quote

Dave72dt Posted October 22, 2012 Report Posted October 22, 2012 I wonder how much it would cost to ship just the front end. It wouldn't take anywhere near as big a crate as a good one would. We are actually planning a trip to Aus. someday but I doubt beating on that pile of steel would be very high on my wife's "to do" list. It'd be a highlight of my trip. Quote
