Reg Evans Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 Thanks Hank. Now I don't feel quite as NUTS about my clock collecting disorder. Quote

Dave72dt Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 Used to have one like that too. Used it for cooking 4 tube steaks at a time over a campfire. Quote
Young Ed Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 As part of our plymouth club national last fall we put on a tour to a local toaster collector. I didnt go that time as I had been before but it was neat to see his entire building devoted to toasters. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 I have a very old vintage toater here at the house..it is a kitch decor item..I do think it would work as the cord looks serviceable..just never have tried it..its stainless steel adn very ornate carvings..for me, it's just a collector item for a 1908 vintage house..not sure i could spend a lot of time just looking at toasters though.. Young Ed Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 Tim at the cabin we use one the triangle shaped ones with the flip down sides. Only cooks 1 side at a time but once you get it going it cooks them fast! Will give you a heck of a burn if you touch the top of it( found out the hard way) Quote
