greg g Posted July 19, 2012 Report Posted July 19, 2012 (edited) Well got the fenders hung and rolled her outside. Just in case you thought I had quit on it. Gotta wait for my Brother to come over to hang the hood, making some carpets then gotta patch up all the holes in the firewall. Still cogitation of E brake stuff. Might need to clean out the bed also, it became a handy catch all spot for garage project leavings. Edited July 19, 2012 by greg g Quote

james curl Posted July 19, 2012 Report Posted July 19, 2012 My experience with a Studebaker Pick up. I bought my father in laws long wheel base 58/59 from my mother in law after he died. Thought that I could turn it quicker in Austin, Texas than where she lived and give her the difference. Had it two years with out any hits on any of the adds that I had posted. It was a V 8, with Automatic transmission, two tone, turquoises and white in the same style as Greg's Truck and ran real good, the only problem is that I did not fit in the cab as the leg room is very short and I am more legs than body. The wife found a college student who was a veteran going to school on the GI bill and he said that he would work it out for the truck and she let him have it. He worked two Saturdays helping me replace the ceder post that hold up my house. He worked on the posts on the outside and I worked under the house on those post. In two Saturdays he got one post removed then quit, said he could work someplace else and pay the truck off. After two years and no money and a divorce his ex wife paid us the remainder of the selling price. Quote
