buds truck Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 (edited) The guy has it parked in front of his house with a for sale sign on it. I stopped by to take a quick pic and he came out to talk to me. Seems it has about 10k on the rebuilt flathead. the body is kinda beat up, but still quite solid. He started it up and it purrs like a kitty. I dont want it, but thought I would post it here in case there was some interest, he is asking $1500.00. His name is Darwin...... Plymouthy Adams Posted June 13, 2012 Report Posted June 13, 2012 a panel is lot more interesting to me than a truck..kinda like an early model mini van..(cargo variety) Quote
55 Fargo Posted June 13, 2012 Report Posted June 13, 2012 a panel is lot more interesting to me than a truck..kinda like an early model mini van..(cargo variety) I agree, very cool, kinda like comparing a sedan to a biz coupe. I think this panel has a lotof potential, whether it be stock,or hot rod, EEK did I say Hot rod. Many things can be done to this unit, my Son thought it was much cooler than my 55 Fargo truck..... To me its just another kind a truck....48D I agree, it is another form of a truck but one that has a bit more shape to it, one that carries as much cargo on the average and said cargo can be left in place and parked in a parking lot with less change of theft or pilfering..and if it rains..well cargo stays dry...plus it easily converts to a camper of sorts..if I want to haul rocks and sand..well that is what a utility trailer is for..usually can maneuver a trailer in the yard for placing dirt/sand etc with my garden tractor than using my a truck or other large vehicle..basically..just not a truck person..have owned two..glad to be rid of both..second truck was not meant to be..but decided to build over using it as a donor..traded it for a nice sedan...
