Thanks again everyone, I appreciate all the prayers and well wishes.

We are slowly but surely making headway on the engine, hopefully by the weekend she will be up and running again.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I have been reading about the wayback machine for quite awhile and look forward to the stories. I wish you a quick recovery and many more years with the wayback machine.

One of our very good friends here in Cambria came up with cancer a little less than a year ago, and it had spread through his throat and esophagus. He underwent Chemo as well and it looks like he has beaten it.  They don't find any cancer now.  They can do a lot with treatments and the success rate is good.  Just keep knowing that it will work for you. My wife and I will keep you in our thoughts.

We just got back from Cooperstown about an hour ago.  I saw my chemo dr, radiation dr and the ear, nose and throat dr that is in charge of my treatments.  All three of them are very pleased with my progress so far.  I go back in Oct to see the chemo dr, most likely last time, and the ENT dr.  I see my radiation dr in Jan.

I again want to thank everyone for your prayers and well wishes over the past year,

Bob

That's great news, but I would still caution you to be a little skeptical.  When I was initially diagnosed with early stage prostate cancer, I opted for radiation.  I went through 48 sessions, and was pronounced cured.  Three years later my PSA count started going up again, and they eventually figured out that I was among the unlucky five percent that don't get a one hundred percent cure from radiation treatment.  I then had to go through a surgical-type procedure that should have killed everything, but has a few side effects.  It's been several years, and everything still looks good, but I'm still not assuming I'm done with it for good.

I hope everyone is having a good day and PLEASE get out there and enjoy those old MOPARs as one knows...........................

Bob

I had a stroke back in Feb after two exploratory cancer operations in Dec,along with a kidney stone in-between. I saw it all, especially the stroke as a wake-up call, and am now involved in selling off or trading the parts and project cars I have no real interest in keeping, and tagging or otherwise marking everything that doesn't sell so that when I'm gone the people handling my estate will be able to sell it instead of just hauling it all to the dump.

Ain't saying I won't buy any more cars if the price is right and I have the money, but there won't be any more total project cars in my garage than the ones I already have. Anything I buy from here on out has to move and stop under it's own power, and be at least semi-presentable.
