Hey, How did those vent windows I gave you work out? I posted some info a few days back on a guy I found that makes all kinds for sheet metal parts. I also received a catalog from the plymouth Dr. he has some very nice stuff listed and priced as such. If you have the cash he looks as if he would be a good choice. Went a hour up the road today to get some parts for Tim and saw a 41 Cry. 4 door for sale on the side of the road. Body looked good but did not check out the floors. It had a flathead Spitfire engine that ran I wanted but he would not part it out. He was asking 1200.00 for the car. Did not seem too bad but as you know I cant bring another car home to my yard.

TRy the plymouthdoctor in your home state. How bad are yours? Or you can have some bent at a local sheet metal fabricator, then weld in.

CAn yours be patched and repaired? Or they gone beyond recall?.....

I found a place not too far from me, just a little NE of Lansing in Perry, Michigan. I couldn't find a website for them, but here is the contact info:

Plymouth Doctor Restoration Parts, LLC

PH# 517-625-7596

Point of contact is Wayne Brandon.

I plan to give him a call today. Hope this helps somebody out.

Haha! Thanks, Rockwood. Funny you should mention plymouthdoctor, I just found out about them while looking for other parts!

Not sure, but I think they need to be removed and replaced. They have irregularly-shaped and randomly-spaced rust holes all along the underside of them. I haven't thought of patching them, just replacing them. Maybe I should give them another look.

How hard is it to fabricate them if I have access to a brake and a shear?

If you have access to a decent sized brake and shear, might not be that difficult.

Do some searches, there have been plenty of others on here that have done this very task.

I actually eliminated my inner rockers, used square tube steel 2X2, then fabbbed and outer rocker over this, it worked out okay, and is good and strong

If you have access to a brake it should be fairly easy. They are basically a Z shape with 90° corners.

I need some inner rockers for my '47 Plymouth 2-dr coupe. Anybody have any links of where I can get some?

If not, how hard are they to make?

I made mine; very easy to do. Theres pictures on my 48 plymouth build thread if you want to take a look.
