Last night a storm moved through the area quickly..tornado spotted just west of us and the storms were moving almost due east..our little town was actually headlined as one of three small towns that were on the 'hit list" major concern as the Plymouth is still about 3 feet off the ground on the cross bucks..I have it ready to drop back on the frame but have found this height so comfortable for doing so many things that I have been working other issues in place. Storms went through quick, we got zero wind or hail and I am happy..roof shaking thunder and brilliant lightening...as of 7:30 this morning its a nice 53 degrees out, wet as we got some soaking rains. Back to wiring the car a bit later..

We also had a couple of twisters a day or so ago but no hail or damage. I believe the storms headed to Elko after we were done with them. I just got a new roof installed in November last year due to hail damage. I dont want to go through another roof install as I have doen it twice in the past 8 years due to hail.

Good to hear the nasty weather passed you by,Tim.It can be worriesome. We had -15 deg F. here earlier this week - yesterday +45 deg F. with sunny sky and no wind.I was outside in my shirt sleeves changing the oil in my truck and enjoying every moment :)

Glad no storm resulted, Tim.

We had a tornado watch in this area last Monday night.

After going thru a tornado, I pay pretty close attention to those

weather announcements. We are having a poured concrete safe

room in the new house.......just in case. It could happen again, what

with today's crazy weather.

Tim...I'm embarrassed to say I have never seen a real tornado. I've lived my whole life out west here and have only seen turbulance that looks like tiny tornados.....when I was in Kansas in 1985, some locals showed me a shop that had its I beams tore out of the foundation....pretty impressive. Glad it missed you, and glad youre ok.

Personally, The Wizard of OZ is as close as I want to come. Watching Twister is more than far enough. I wish I could say the same for earthquakes...
