B1B Keven Posted January 11, 2012 Author Report Posted January 11, 2012 Well you just made that guy a lot of money & cost someone a lot of money! Ya, me. Quote
TheMoose Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 I screwed up & asked him if they were functional instead of just hitting the buy now button at $40! By the time he answered my email the buy now option was gone because someone had bid. Quote
B1B Keven Posted January 11, 2012 Author Report Posted January 11, 2012 I'm the high bidder right now and don't want them. Rather stick with my Aooogah horn. Thought I'd pass it along. Quote
sniggle_t Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 My dual horns do not look like that. Mine are a long narrow tube that flares out at the end. not the large tapered tube as the ones in the auction. I was under the impression that mine were stock (1951 B-3-D). Are the auction ones for 48-50? Quote

Are the auction ones for 48-50? Like these? Or do they have a 90 degree bend in them? Actually, here's more info: http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/showthread.php?t=18719&highlight=dual+horns Quote
sniggle_t Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 Here is a few pictures of mine. Quote
Merle Coggins Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 I guess I got lucky. I found mine at a swap meet. I think I paid $10 or $20. He wasn't sure what they came off of, but he was pretty sure they were Mopar. Also he couldn't varify if they worked or not. When I got home I tested them and they worked fine. I just had to make a new mounting bracket, cleaned 'em up and repainted 'em. and they work just fine. Quote
ggdad1951 Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 well they went for over $240! I quit at $115...yikes! Quote
TheMoose Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 They sold for $240.21. I should have hit buy now at $40! Quote
ggdad1951 Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 well, maybe someone here will run across a coupla sets and remember us and be more "family friendly" when it comes to price... Quote
VintageMoParts Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 I have several of the "Car" dual horn setups but have yet to see the truck "flat" ones in a dually, I have plenty of singles. Quote

Desotodav Posted August 21, 2012 Report Posted August 21, 2012 Just checking if anybody here happened to buy this set of dual horns from Ebay a year or so back, or if anyone here has a set the same. I'm trying to get some measurements of the 'Z' bracket and shorter horn length. Desotodav Quote
David A. Posted August 22, 2012 Report Posted August 22, 2012 Those appear to be the ones I bought. I'm working pretty long hours on my job, but I will try to get some measurements for you in the next day or two. I guess you are needing the mounting hole locations also? David A. Quote
Desotodav Posted August 22, 2012 Report Posted August 22, 2012 Thanks for the reply David. I have sent you a PM. I'm mainly chasing measurements to replicate the 'Z' mounting piece + length of short horn. I now have the 6V relay (thanks Hank), so I'm just about good to go. Desotodav Quote
HanksB3B Posted August 22, 2012 Report Posted August 22, 2012 Glad a kangaroo didn't stomp on the package and it made it in one piece. Hank Quote
