Thought I may as well start another new thread on your truck as I think you are going for a new record on the number of threads on the same project. I really do not know if the alternator you pictured in one of these threads will work for you. Need more information.

More threads keep this forum exciting!

well Fred, maybe in a better light..after your successful building of one car I think most would assume you would be sproting an "air" of confidence by now..

Always something new to learn Tim, and you have been 1 of those, who have helped me out a lot over the years, and I appreciate, all the advice and encouragement I have gotten from you. .......

Maybe we should all shut the hell up and let you solve your own problems.

Rusty, what does this thread have to do with you, any particular reason , you want to get in on this??????

Shouldn't this new thread on "his" truck have been started in the truck forum??? I thought this is an open forum, nobody is forced to read a thread, so if you're not interested or willing to help, move on to the next. I'm new to old Mopars & shouldn't feel discouraged to ask questions about different problems with my car. I know it may clutter the forum a little, but, may also be easier to search when the question or problem is in the title of a thread.

Now now Don, Does it bother you, it seems to, or are you in the "grumpy mode", either way, your statement, seems to lack insight.

Why on earth would I keep 1 thread, for several???s on very different topics or questions, even though, it is the same project seems irrelevant to me.

Now for example, questions on seats, alternators, flex fuel line, body swapping, a thread on so many topics related to the same truck would be pages and pages long, not very convenient for any readers or future readers.

So tell me Don, now that you have started a thread on my behalf, or tell all the members on here, what is up, you ticked off, annoyed, or what.

I know if you were involved in creating many threads, I could care a less, but you Don, have some hidden agenda, so tell us all what is it , are you a silent partner, or a bad comedian, maybe a bit of a joker or what.

I tell you what, you refrain from your ignorant, bullying posts, and I will rethink how I create threads, do you think that is possible, cuz I don't.

Do you think, you need to have a look at your own conduct.

I tell you what you don't bother me, I won't bother you, right out in the open, Guys like you, feel compelled to be quite controlling, was there a complaint about my recent threads, what not the right kind of questions, ignorant, not on topic, like what it is Don, I suppose you could come up with whatever you don't like.

I am not going to get into a pissing match with you, so my suggestion, is you don't like my threads, posts, or me in particular, I invite you to a nice warm cup of "SHUT THE HELL UP", and and suggest you rethink, how you have presented yourself on this forum........

Thanks Fred;

What ever happened to agree to disagree? I dont believe the thread I started in your behalf was grumpy in any way. You have known me for many years on this forum and you know that I am usually pretty direct in my postings.

There is some insight and logic to my post and any hidden agenda is simply to make things easier to find.

I just did a forum search for threads started by you using the key words "Fargo Truck" and I found 27 threads. If I were a newcomer looking for Fargo Truck I would have to sort through all 27 threads to possibly find the answer I was looking for.

Forum member plymouthasc shared the restoration of his 1941 P-12 using one thread. So if I were a new comer looking for P-12 information all of the information could be found in one thread as all the eggs are in one basket so to speak.

Is it easier to bring closure to one thread or 27 threads? Think about it...

And once again thanks for your insight and kind words.

People's questions are almost always about a specific part or system. So I think it's better to have an individual thread for each. I think someone is much more likely to do a search on, say, wheel cylinders or upholstery rather than "54 Plymouth" or whatever. I think it's a problem when someone begins five different threads on trying to solve their overheating problem. I've been guilty of that in the past. Plymouth ASC has provided an incredible resource with his videos. But chances are, I have a question about something very specific and I would never sift through all those videos to find the answer.

I wish you would just go away........don't you have some other people to bother, ie; other forums? Or are they sick of you there too?
