P-12 Tommy

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, It's been awhile 'cause of what happened and I've been very busy. I decided to move back to the Cleveland, Ohio area (actually Mentor) because my kids are still up here. They're having more kids, so they need a closeby grandpa. Terri was my life in Melbourne Beach and I just couldn't stay there any longer.:( The P12 was still in her name as well as the Navigator. Both are going to the estate until her family figures out the mess. She didn't make out a will. Her son was nice enough to give me a car to haul back from North Carolina. I sold my cars a while back to pay bills when the 2008 crunch was going on. Things happened so fast. I'm now just gonna wait 'till the snow comes and freeze my butt off. lol Someday maybe I'll get another 40's Plymouth or Dodge to play with. I don't see that happening right now and I miss it bigtime. Terri's son-in-law had me drive the Plymouth to their house in Malabar just before I left and park it. It killed me to walk away from it. 4 years and all the work I put in to it. UGH!! Enough ranting. Just wanted to let you guys know where I've been.

All the best from me as well, Tommy.

I'm very sorry to hear about Terri, and i wish you all the courage and strenght you will need.

By the way, the coil is here and all fine. Looks like it had some kind of accident

on the way, the package was destroyed, wet and dirty and they packed the whole thing in a plastic bag with a reconstructed adress on it. Guess that's why it took so long...

Best wishes from Berlin,

Fred

Fred, Thanks for the kind words. It's been hectic but I'm doing alright. You can see that I moved from the bottom of the country to the top. Gonna be different. Not used to cold weather for 11 years. As for the coil... I'm glad you got it. I hope they didn't screw it up. Did you test it to see if it works? It worked when it left me.

Thanks again, Tom

Couldn't you convince them to let you keep the car you worked on for all that time?

I hear Cleveland is a great city and much underappreciated.

I concur. There has to be some way that you can work it out. I'm no lawyer, but you should be able to bid on your car at the estate auction. Even convince the auctioneer not to place it on the auction bill, hide it until the end of the auction, and bring it out at the very end for you and the few diehards that stay to the bitter end for bargains. The family knows that it's really your car. Even if you aren't able to be there, some one should be able to bid for you.

I know this may not be a help to you Tom, but after my sister was killed, she also did not have a will. I was executor and have been preaching to everyone I know.............if you don't have a will, make one now.

I hope things go well for you and that her family will see you for the great person you are.
