Young Ed Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 My p15 has a switch on the drivers side B pillar and a door operated switch on the pass door. Quote
Alshere59 Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 I have the same set up on my my P 20 as Ed. Passenger door has a switch when you open it and a manual switch on the pillar on the drivers side. I have a 4 door if that makes a difference. Quote
greg g Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 Some were not wired for door operated switches ad came only with the pillar switch. Quote
Greenbomb Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 My '50 coupe had a sw. on the driver's side pillar and the switch on the right door. It was also miswired. Maybe yours got removed at some point. Quote
YukonJack Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 My 47 2dr sedan has the pillar switch on the right with no wires going to it. Did the wire run through the headliner from the pillar switch to the dome lamp? Quote

Did the wire run through the headliner from the pillar switch to the dome lamp? Yes and in my coupe above the headliner to the pass door switch too. Quote
