..Interesting,"angle rear parking".Angle parking, front towards the curb is common here in Alberta. After seeing poor attempts at parallel parking which is also common here,I would hate to see another alternative introduced.I can imagine the auto insurance rates would increase dramatically

That's interesting - new to me.Sorry if this sounds silly, but are vehicles restricted to parking rear towards the curb only, on some streets?

We had angle parking in the town where I grew up......front end first.

The only time they back to the curb here nowadays is during a

local car show or cruise-in.

I live in Longview,WA and they do nose in first angle parking in the old part of down town ( main street ). During cars shows they do rear in first.

I also worked at Longview Fibre Co. for a few years If I remember correctly

that company started in 1929, they have done rear in first all these years because cars come in at different times. But when they leave the whole shift leaves at the same time and there is less confusion if people can just pull out

forward and not have to back out.

Man, I hate when they do this to the old downtown main street. Meaning, making it one way traffic, adding curbs that protrude into the street, creating planter boxes...etc. I think the downtown district loses it's old charm when they try to modenize it.

Angle parking (rear end to the footpath) used to be common in Adelaide, but I can't think of anywhere where it is done now. We still have some angle parking in the city but it's angled so you drive in. Mostly now it's 90° to the gutter. Do we call that perpendicular parking, as opposed to parallel parking?

Bathwater goes down clockwise when viewed from the top last time I took a bath. But that was a while ago. And no, I'm not a pom. Showers are more convenient!
