  1. On the side of the front fender where it says Meadowbrook. If it is Gyromatic it will say so under Meadowbrook.
  2. In Don Bunn book on Dodge pickup trucks they were an option.
  3. I have one or two that came as extra parts with my '48 I see new ones on EBay $200. a set.
  4. Check you tube. Guy showing one way to do it.
  5. They are 31 1/4 " and were just the rubber. i had to make the metal part.
  6. I got them from Steele about 20 yr. ago and they were about $200
  7. The center of the rear bumper folds down.
  8. My 2008 Dodge Dakota only says Dodge on the dash above the glove box.
  9. When I got my '48 B1B it would run fine then miss then fine again. Found the spring under the rotor missing. Rotor could move a little. New Rotor no problems.
  10. It never did for me. It is just the same as if you floor the gas. It drops from 4th 3rd.
  11. Should be a 5/16 bolt holding it. I am thinking you mean the crankcase vent pipe on right rear of the block.
  12. Yes, they were an add on for the Wayfarer.
  13. The business coupe my not be the same as others for that year.
  14. My parts books show Mopar 603 or 803 for 1949.
  15. That is the proper location on a 49 Dodge or Plymouth.
  16. I have seen some Wayfarers with the emblem however if you check a parts book for the 49 Dodge it shows the emblem only for the D30. And as to the Dodge letters, yes the belong on the hood.
  17. just as an aside, the d29 cars did not have this emblem
