RobertKB Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 Welcome to the forum. Great start and good looking projects. These old Mopars are pretty straight-forward. If you have the missing front clips it will make your projects easier as mentioned. Quote

P-12 Tommy Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 Randy, Welcome to the best flathead site on the WWW. You've got enough to keep ya busy for awhile. I've got a P-12 1941 Plymouth. Tom Quote
randys toys Posted November 5, 2010 Author Report Posted November 5, 2010 Thanks Guys, got the 51 b.coupe to pop a few times but points need adjusted, thats a mighty small dist. to set points in,lol, put a new fuel pump in and rebuilt the carb, once i get it running then off to the brakes, hear they are fun, guess i'll jump in w/both feet Quote
greg g Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 Easiest way is to pull the dist and do the points on the bench. The dist can only go in correct or 180 off so just note where the rotor points. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 That hood on the right looks like a 46-48 item....... The one wrapped up with wood support strikes me as more like a 1949 or 50 type. Just guessing, of course. Welcome and have fun with your cars. Quote
Charlie Olson Posted November 6, 2010 Report Posted November 6, 2010 I really like those 49 bumpers. I may have a set to put on PLYWOOD, as we move forward to repair it. Quote
