greg g Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 Not my cup of tea but an interesting use of slavaged material Quote
Merle Coggins Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 Plus, if you run out of firewood at the campground you can just pop out the grill and cut up some more. Quote
Reg Evans Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 I never saw that before. The owner must be a young blade. Quote
Dave72dt Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 I think it looks very appropriate for the finish on the truck. Makes the truck look aggressive. I'd leave it like that if not redoing the paint. Those blades will make a young guy feel old in a hurry if used the way originally intended. Maybe he's just storing them there because the bed is full. Quote
jakenoklahoma Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 I am digging it in a sort of Christine or Maximum Overdrive way.... Quote
greg g Posted September 2, 2010 Author Report Posted September 2, 2010 Well I do remember using my father and uncle using a two man cross cut, some wedges and several buck saws after hurricane Hazel (54) knocked down an old Maple tree in my Grandmother's yard. Lotsa sweat and some interesting new vocabulary, I was 7 or 8 at the time. When they got into the 30 + inch diameter stuff, the decided to call somebody with power saws. Quote
lugnut123 Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 Take that truck and hang a maniquin arm out the front. That would look cool. Quote

Don Coatney Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 I like my log manifold better. Quote
Allen I. Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 Ooooh, 85 hp table saw. Makes me laugh ... when my grandpa got ticked at grandma, he'd go down in the basement and rip a few boards. Man did she ever hate the noise of that table saw. Quote
