While driving through Niles, CA yesterday, spotted this guy getting ready to unload at least one at a antique store.

A big "attaboy" to the first to guess correctly.

JD,

'Der Wienerschnitzel' is the first thing to spring to mind but I haven't seen one in enough years that's it's only a guess. I recall they had buildings with dogs on them but the franchise never caught on near where I lived. I guess it never really caught on much of anywhere.

Boy, that would be a tough one to call.

There was nothing finer, then to be at Doggie Diner

Al Ross (1917-2010), Founder of Doggie Diner

And opps,,, but I see a trademark stamp...:)

Everything really was good there. Was a family treat to take us kids in either the 51 Chevy, or 53 Merc and go eat there.

Hokey smokes, Bullwinkle! I remember Farfel and those Nestles ads but I totally forgot about Jimmy Nelson and Danny O'Day!

I was thinking Farfel belonged to Paul Winchell along with Jerry Mahoney and Knucklehead Smith!
