55 Fargo Posted July 7, 2010 Report Posted July 7, 2010 Hi all, the crop directly across the road from my front yard got crop dusted today. The pilot kept flying his plane just over my front yard, house garage, you name it, and very low and too close for comfort. I was not amused, but it was a bit exciting to watch......Fred Quote
jd52cranbrook Posted July 7, 2010 Report Posted July 7, 2010 I tell ya, I wish I lived across from a field like that. The SF Bay Area lost most of those long long ago. Quote

P-12 Tommy Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 We know there's a Furd right behind the truck. Tom Quote
1940plymouth Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 '46-'48, I can tell you that much, but not the exact year Quote
Young Ed Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 Little ford-ucation. Unlike mopars which went unchanged for 46-48 46 fords have the parking light up next to the headlight. 47-48 fords they are round ones under the headlights Quote
greg g Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 Yea but they all still had torque tubes and buggy springs. And those overheating, vapor locking, boat anchors. And only 100 HP Quote
Flatie46 Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 That also could have been an International Harvester in the back of that truck. My mom's got a '48 model IH deep freeze that just quit gonna have to haul off. Her and dad bought it when they bought the house in '48. Sure don't make stuff like they used to. Quote

Young Ed Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 I think a lot of the old school fridges and freezers did. I'm pretty sure thats whats in Dads 29 GE Quote
