When dealers get exited..

That truck is crazy shiny. Did you catch the clear reflection of the guy taking the pictures in the hubcaps? Nice resto, but for that money it would need to be a lot more perfect for me, no paint runs, sunpro gauges, dented horn, etc. Still a really nice looking truck.

When I see a truck like this I always wonder how it looked before they started. I know trucks in general were used and abused back then. I like how the shifter is curved in those trucks, are the Dodges made that way?

That shifter handle looks custom shaped at the top end-never seen a dodge shifter like that.

Is the grill custom or rare? I would prefer a black front bumper, the eye-bolt tie down is a bit rinky-dinky, and he has two sets of guages. For that kind of money one would think he would have had the original guages restored. Yet it does turn the head. NICE!

The first time I restored (sort-of) my truck I pounded in the decomposed area where the front fenders were riveted to the fender support bracket, bondo'd the heck out of them and called it good. Next time around, and kind of getting my mind wrapped around the Don Bunn book (which I previously didn't know existed) I realized these were an important feature and went to some extent to get them looking correct by machining and welding carriage bolts. After seeing the labor of love that guys on the forum have put into their trucks, I'd have to say that the Fargo looks more like "restored to sell" than "restored to own".
