Ok....I made a YOUTUBE account with the plan of bringing as much video information together concerning our trucks. Its for entertainment only, but maybe we could learn something too. Some of you have videos that are on photobucket or elsewhere, but with your permission (i'll send a pm) I'd like to post it on the Youtube account. I'm new to Youtube as far as a contributor, and wouldn't mind a pointer or two. Those of you who have videos on your own Youtube account, will find it on the favorites list (I think that's how it works).....So please, help me find your videos if its been out of circulation for awhile. If you want to make a video for the account, post it here on the forum or let me know where it is. Then let me know you want to add it to the Youtube account, and I'll take care of it. Hopfully this works, I look forward to any helpfully ideas and seeing some of you on camera!!

I will take a video today and let you know about it, I will post it on you-tube, perhaps you can merge it to your list as well.

'52 B3B also will show the '48 International KB1 as well.

That sounds great! let me know on this thread. I'm trying to find anything on our trucks so we can have a single place to look through. I loaded Merle's inner fender video (with his permission of course) and working on a few other ones too.

Needed something while waiting for a different head, the shackle video was timely and very helpful. Thank you.

I just recieved new rear shackle hangar brackets for my truck rebuild. The inside of the new bracket is threaded. Are the new shackles suppose to "thread" into the brackets as well as screw on to the shackle?

BTW I like the music on the shackle removal video. Van Halen?

Thanks

Steve

"Resistance" ......7th track on the 1990 album "Empire" by Queensryche.

The bushings have what I call "rounded" threads on the outside and "sharp" threads on the inside. The bushing's rounded side and the frame mount, take the bulk of the grease. Put the shackle into the holes....then thread the bushings on. Try and keep everything even so your wheels track right.

The frame brackets I have are new ones with sharp threads on the inside. So....does the bushing screw into the brackets and then on to the shackle? My only question is does the bushing screw into the new bracket first? I may be making this way too complicated but I don't want to mess up the new costly brackets.

I made a slide show video of our trip to Bonneville. The music matched what was going on in my mind during the whole ordeal. In others words random. This isn't a "how I built it" video....just a run down of my favorite moments over the last year.

WOW! Brought back memories. I had forgotten how lonely it is going down the salt. Nobody but the driver, miles of salt, and speed. Calculating every decision you as the driver must make a thousand times over, before you bring her up to full speed. Gives me goose bumps to think about it. Thanks for taking the time to make and post this terrific slide show. Now I want to drive your truck on the salt as well as your race car.:D

Very well done, just signed on and started viewing. Have you done any posts/videos of the engine and mods done to run on the salt? I see the attention to detail on the frame and suspention, well done on the IRS by the way.:D
