Plymouthy Adams Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Well it rained for about 4+ hours..walked around soaking wet for 5 hours or so then another almost 2 hours ride home. 90% of the stuff stayed covered up but true to the blind hog theory...scored a few nice parts..notice a new hard to find items here..not pictured is the stainless rocker trim, hood trim and the door molding.. Scored a very hard to find factory option for my 54 Club Coupe also..As I was walking about with my friend Jim I mentioned all I was missing was a set of 67-72 era 318 a-body exhaust manifolds..10 minutes later..snagged a set of them...debating if I should return tomorrow for another round... Niel Hoback Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Definitely on a roll, you have to go back! Quote
greg g Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 NIce score, and I bet you got the whole load for less than a clock on ebay.... Quote
thrashingcows Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Wow outdoor swap meet already!! Nice score!! Definitely go back...bring the rain gear and umbrella this time... Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Looks like some good stuff, Tim. More than you find at some swaps around here. I'd certainly be tempted to go back - hopefully the weather will be better. Quote
P-12 Tommy Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 I wish they had old-timey swap meets aound here. Ya did good Tim! Tom Quote
daddyo23 Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Not only the clock but the whole center piece is a good score. Man, I'd like to find something like that or even just the clock someday. Lately the swaps around here haven't been the best. Or, I don't have as much houndog in me as you do, Tim:D. Congrats on the find. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted February 6, 2010 Author Report Posted February 6, 2010 just lucky to be in the right place at the right time...the pristine lighter is a decent find also..actually all the knobs are nice but alas I did not get a headlight knob..these items are still showing up here an there..gotta beat the bushes...this stuff was left over from a P15 that was shaved on the dash and exterior of the car.. Quote
Rodney Bullock Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Tim, you got alot of patience. If you go back you will not have that kind of luck again. Lighting don't strike twice or does it:D Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted February 6, 2010 Author Report Posted February 6, 2010 stayed at home..figured not to push my luck.. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Tim.....is that a good tube on the heat gauge? If so, an even better deal. I see it appears to have the capsule on the end. A clock and lighter in one deal.....that's extremely hard to beat. Headlight knobs are a little hard to come by.....I'm looking for one for the coupe now. The old is crumbling. Quote
