3rd annual Tailgate BBQ

I am going to try and make this gathering. My old truck can't make the trip. Wish I had a trailer for her.

Yes, I am in Woodbridge. If you want to haul it out there, I will be happy to accept your offer. It may still be just the cab, frame, powertrain and wheels, but that will just make it easier to push onto the trailer.

I will be done with tax season so I won't have to be in the office that saturday. I am looking forward to seeing all the trucks and gleaning some information on getting this truck rolling.

I may try and rent a trailer or get a uhaul car hauler so I can bring my truck. My old Dolly Dodge would like to see some of her own kind. She will is running and mobile, just not good enough to make the trip (besides no license yet). I got a muffler on the way for her so she will sound good too.

Weather seems to be cooperating......it's raining now, but should clear up tomorrow and be 75 degrees day of the BBQ!

Now, I'm not sure if I'm going to make it. I changed the motor out last weekend and am having vibration issues with the 360. I know its externally balanced and thought I had everything covered but.... Going to make sure I have the torque converter balanced right tonight so cross your fingers.

My truck is still down and broken, and I'm without transporation....so maybe next year. I'll be reassembling the motor this Saturday, and breaking it in again, so keep your fingers crossed for me.

I think we were trying to miss the ATHS show in Plymouth, which we did..its 4/24/2010. The spring Fling is in Van Nuys outside of Los Angles. I don't think we were thinking about that one.

Yeah, looks like I'll be there after all. I mounted the counter weights in the wrong spot on the torque converter. Will do the test drive this week and if all goes well, head over the mountain on Saturday.

Well, I don't have any pictures, but I do have great memories. What a blast. And the B-1-BQ was awesome.

Great turn out! I haven't had a moment yet to put the pictures together, but the weather and the B-1-BQ were incredible. Of course I wish you were there Reg, you took the best picture last year and hope someone stepped this year, lol.
