Norm's Coupe Posted October 4, 2009 Report Posted October 4, 2009 (edited) Found this on the HAMB posted in a report on a car show held today inFredonia, KS That thumbail won't enlarge. When I enlarged, then copied, the pic was huge. Here's a link to the post. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=404142 Bob, When I clicked on that link you gave, the whole page was enlarged. Looks like all you did was hit "Ctrl +" to enlarge the picture. When you copy the page that way, it's still going to be a thumbnail picture when you copy it. If you had enlarged that picture with the mouse (like you do here) it should have been the full sized picture. Then you could copy the picture from that link and put it here. Or, download it onto your computer files to transfer the larger picture here. If you download just the thumbnail onto your computer, you would then need to enlarge it in your photo editing program. Just checking that picture again, the file size is 528 KB. That's a huge file size (almost 1/2 of a floppy disc space). So........it probably wouldn't even fit the monitor screen. Don't know why some people don't take the time to reduce their picture file sizes to about 100 KB's to post on a site. My daughter use to send me pictures via email that size all the time. Finally told her if she was too lazy to reduce the file size, don't send pictures. Then I set the preferences in our email program to only allow pictures or email that was limited to 300 KB's or less for fast loading. Now before you guys start jumping on me for calling my daughter lazy for not reducing the pictures, then saying she may not know how. That's not the case, she's just lazy in this respect. She knows how because she sets up web sites for sports teams. So.........there's no excuse for not reducing the file sizes for email, etc. in her case. Edited October 4, 2009 by Norm's Coupe Quote
RobertKB Posted October 4, 2009 Report Posted October 4, 2009 Found this on the HAMB posted in a report on a car show held today inFredonia, KS I don't much like the car. I agree it takes a lot of skill to do it but I don't like the colour, the wheels, or the painted bumper. Lack of trim takes away for me also. Not my cup of tea, so to speak. Quote
Cpt.Fred Posted October 4, 2009 Report Posted October 4, 2009 i don't like it either, but i agree on the clean job. skillful but tasteless. Quote
greg g Posted October 4, 2009 Report Posted October 4, 2009 Not liking how they did the rear. Must be bsed on a 4 foor and the genuine artical did not have Suicide rear doors. And the rear or the roof maintained the straigt line started at the front side window. Quote
