greg g Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 The studie is nice, but could use a different wheel. Can't like those.... Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 The little Rambler wagon is refreshing...hard to go wrong with a two door wagon.. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 OK, without doing research, what kind of wheel covers are on the little rod pickup with the Hemi??? (I know what they are.) Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 I'm with Greg......Stude is neat, looks like an original color scheme......but could have found better style wheels. Thanks for the pics, Ed. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 I'd suppose this guy had to head for home before dark.......... Quote
P15Mike Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 Bob ..... that's part of his Ram-air set up.... Mike I'd suppose this guy had to head for home before dark.......... Quote
PatS.... Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 I'd suppose this guy had to head for home before dark.......... Drivers around here wouldn't be stopped by anything not on that car Quote
PatS.... Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 The little Rambler wagon is refreshing...hard to go wrong with a two door wagon.. That window set-up and roofline seem different than any Rambler American 2 door wagon I've seen before. Nice wagon, in a homely type way Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 looks like a stock 1963 wagon to me..but hey..never did follow Rambler that much..had one cuz-in-law that was partical to them...I do believe most folks that ever saw these and remembered anything about them probably saw them with the roof rack on it..would make a big difference in looks....I did cruise about in a 65 model a bit back in high school Quote
greg g Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 hubcaps are off amid 50's desoto V8. Probably sourced from the car that donated the engine. Quote
Paul Hoffmeyer Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 Those are from a '53 Buick Super or Roadmaster. Paul H Quote
tinlizzy Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 the hemi dwarfs them all doesn't it. sure wish I had one. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 yessir...they sure are impressive looking blocks in an open compartment car...what it may lackin cubic inches..it make up for in intimidation.. Quote
Young Ed Posted July 5, 2009 Author Report Posted July 5, 2009 I was as much impressed with the hemi as I was by the push button automatic also transfered into that pickup thing. Quote
Young Ed Posted July 5, 2009 Author Report Posted July 5, 2009 I'd suppose this guy had to head for home before dark.......... The rusty p15 was for sale. Missing parts like the lights front bumper etc were in the back seat. Car has a clock too. Quote
Don Coatney Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 The rusty p15 was for sale. Missing parts like the lights front bumper etc were in the back seat. Car has a clock too. What time did the clock show? Nice looking gaggle of cars. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 Don..its always 2:30 in the afternoon in Deadbone Quote
Don Coatney Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 Don..its always 2:30 in the afternoon in Deadbone And it is always 5:00 PM in margaretiville:rolleyes: Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 Paul was correct about the Buick wheel covers. These have the V8 emblem on them. Whereas, the Special, the lowest model, had only the straight 8. Quote
